Famous natural landmarks
The Waterfall in Jajce, Bunar River, and The Waterfalls of Kravice are three natural landmarks that have had an effect on the culture and history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All three of these landmarks provided either a way of transportation, food source, water source, farming sources, etc., all of which helped the people living here live a more sufficient lifestyle. Below are pictures of these landmarks in order from left to right: The Waterfall in Jajce, The Waterfalls of Kravice, The Bunar River. Shown in the picture below of the Bunar River is a very important historical building called the Dervish House (tekija). It is one of the finest remaining buildings from the Ottoman rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The three natural landmarks above are also very well known and common tourist attractions in Bosnia & Herzegovina. In fact, they all fall under the top 10 best places to visit in Bosnia & Herzegovina. To list a few others, the number one place to visit is Sarajevo - Baščaršija. Baščaršija is in the middle of the country's capital, Sarajevo and is the oldest part of the city. It is full of history, culture, and religion of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Falling just short of the best place to visit is the Old Bridge Mostar in 2nd place. This bridge is known as the symbol of the town and is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks. Not only is this a very famous monument in this country, it falls under the top 20 most beautiful bridges in the world. Below is a picture of the bridge and one of Baščaršija.
