History
music
As far as music, Bosnian music is a mix of many different countries' styles. Countries including Hungary, Greece, Serbia, Turkey, and many others have contributed to Bosnian music. Bosnian music began when Bosnia and Herzegovina was being annexed by Yugoslavia. Many new artists began producing and publishing music during this time which was the beginning of Bosnian music. The most known and popular style would be Sevdalinka which is a very emotional and often sad type of music. An example of Sevdalinka music would be the unofficial hymn of Sarajevo called Kad Ja Podoh na Benbasu. Attached is this song on Youtube.
